Collection: Steven Atkinson Collection

Born in Plant City, Florida and now working out of Sultan, Washington, Steven Atkinson is a maker who believes in giving new life to old materials. His motto — “I like makin’ cool stuff out of other stuff” — is more than words; it’s the heart of his craft.

Steven works with bamboo, copper, and reclaimed metal, transforming them into flutes, roses, and other treasures that carry both beauty and spirit. Each creation reflects not just the material it came from, but the care, patience, and imagination he puts into shaping it.

His bamboo flutes sing in the Key of A, tuned either to modern 440 Hz for bright clarity or to 432 Hz for a more meditative resonance. His copper roses bloom forever, capturing the fleeting beauty of nature in a form that never fades.

Steven’s art is rooted in simplicity and warmth — gifts that are made to last, meant to be held, played, or cherished for generations. Whether it’s music flowing through a handcrafted flute or a copper rose standing strong on a shelf, his work is about honoring the beauty of what already exists and making it live again in a new way.
